Seeking Mentors for Girls Career Conference

Please mark your calendar – Saturday, February 10, 2024.

Soroptimist International of Surrey/Delta and Soroptimist International of White Rock invite you to our annual Dream It, Be It Girls Conference at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (Surrey Campus, Conference Center).

We invite you to participate by representing your profession and/or organization providing career/education resources to high school students who identify as female in our community.

You may choose to have a Career Table – representing your profession/career/trade/occupation OR a Resource Table – info for girls on various topics and/or resources they may use to further their post secondary education, volunteer opportunities, and/or career aspirations.

We will feature a Guest Speaker and present Workshops with women and girls from various occupations talking about their education/career journey, their challenges, successes, and advice to students on how to overcome obstacles and achieve their future career goals.

Please note that we will be selecting workshop topics in conjunction with our committee and teen advisory committee and will contact you by the end of December if we need your help to present a workshop.
